The Family Center of Washington County is a non-profit agency providing a variety of services to the families of Central Vermont. The Family Center is part of the statewide Parent Child Center Network, which helps families with issues such as child care, early childhood education, parent education, home visiting, family fun events, playgroups, services for children with developmental delays and advocacy and community organizing around early childhood issues. Child Care Support Services of the Family Center of Washington County is a Child Care Aware quality assured consumer education and referral service. We offer a free and confidential referral program for registered child care homes and licensed child care centers. Our Child Care Referral Specialist provides families with information on how to locate quality child care, what questions to ask providers when they call and visit and ways to build positive child-parent-provider relationships.
