Family-toFamily Health Information Network

Barbara J. Katz & Liz Hecht, Co-Directors

Family Voices of Wisconsin is a statewide network of families who have children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities and those who work on their behalf. We support families by providing information, training and leadership opportunities so that families can be informed and effective partners in their child's care and in the systems that support them. Family Voices of Wisconsin also works to inform and educate health care providers and local, state and national policy makers and administrators about issues that affect children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities. We are committed to strong partnerships between families and providers to improve the systems of support and services for children. Family Voices of Wisconsin is an affiliate of the national Family Voices and we are the home to Wisconsin's Family to Family Health Information and Education Network. We work closely with the Regional Centers for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs around Wisconsin to make sure families find the resources they need. Family Voices and the Family to Family Health Information and Education Network are funded in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Division of Services for Children with Special Health Needs, grant number H84MC07995, and by a grant through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Program. Members of Family Voices receive our newsletter and email notices about important issues affecting services and support for children with special health care needs and/or disabilities.  To join, go to "Join Us" To learn more about Family Voices of Wisconsin go to "About Us."
