Location in the East Baton Rouge area, GaitWay Therapeutic Horsemanship is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that provides NAHRA certified instruction to children and adults with special needs.  GaitWay Therapeutic Horsemanship was started in 2005 by Shelley Rose and offers instruction at several facilities in the East Baton Rouge area.  “Gaitway Therapeutic Horsemanship is dedicated to improving the lives of people with cognitive, physical or emotional disabilities through the benefits of equine assisted activities.” GaitWay Therapeutic Horsemanship is a member center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association
