Girl Scouts of Rhode Island Summer Camps
Girl Scout camps are special because they are a place for girls (and staff!) to explore their world in a safe, comfortable setting. Girl Scout camps are special because they offer a supportive environment, where girls learn to be stewards of the natural world, and caretakers of each other. Girl Scout camps are special because girls learn to make decisions, compromise, work together as a team, develop self-esteem and become leaders. Girl Scout camps are special because girls have fun! Want a summer to remember? Then think about attending Girl Scout camp. Each summer, hundreds of girls from Rhode Island, southeastern MA and beyond meet new friends, explore the outdoors and challenge themselves at one of our four camps: Camp Hoffman/Camp Green Forest on the shores of Larkin Pond in South County. Camp Promising Acres, with its large, beautiful swimming pool, in Swansea, MA. Camp Rocky Farm, just steps away from the beach and right near the mansions and other “hot spots” in Newport, RI. Camp Cookie in the forests and rocky farmland of northwest, RI. The best part is that you don't have to be in a Girl Scout troop to attend – all girls are welcome. Sign up with a friend from school or your neighborhood, or come on your own and make some new friends!
