Goldsboro Parks & Recreation Dept.
Herman Park Center – is located at 901 East Ash Street. It's facilities include a special populations'/senior citizens' Leisure Center, multi-purpose rooms, an auditorium and an kitchen. The Leisure Center is open to anyone 50 years or above and/or anyone with special needs. You can enjoy billiards, table games and TV. Coffee and tea are available.
W.A Foster Recreation Center – is located 516 S. Leslie Street, which is at the intersection of Leslie Street and Corney Street. It offers educational, recreational and athletic programs. The facilities include a gymnasium, large recreation room, meeting room, a kitchen, community garden, outdoor children's playground, arts & crafts room, and a small fitness room.

H.V. Brown Park is located at the intersection of Elm Street and US 117 Bypass. It features 2 lighted tennis courts, 1 baseball field, 3 picnic shelters, 2 basketball courts, a large playground, a multi-use area, handicap access, and public restrooms.
Herman Park- is located on Herman Street and is Goldsboro's oldest park. It features 10 lighted tennis courts, 3 picnic shelters, 3 playgrounds, a fitness trail, a Park House & Gazebo, a fountain and the Kiwanis Miniature Train. Concessions are available when the train is running. It also has handicapped access.
Berkeley Park is located at the eastern terminus of Cashwell Drive and is Goldsboro's largest park area. It features 2 lighted softball fields, 2 lighted basketball courts, 2 picnic shelters, a large children's playground, public restrooms, handicap access and a large open field area.
