"Good Samaritan Children’s Therapy Unit (CTU) helps infants, children and adolescents who have special needs. We are dedicated to helping each child become as functional and independent as possible. All services are family centered and culturally sensitive.
Children are referred to the CTU because of developmental concerns or for treatment of conditions such as cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorders, genetic syndromes, autism spectrum disorders, muscular dystrophy, neurobehavioral disorders, arthrogryposis, limb deficiencies, Erb’s palsy and hearing impairments. Expert care is provided by a team of pediatric specialists that includes physical, occupational and speech/language therapists, psychologists, physicians and technicians. Evaluations and ongoing therapy are provided on an outpatient basis. The CTU is located in the Donald and Beret Mott Children’s Center, 402 15 Ave. SE, one block south of Good Samaritan Hospital. This award-winning building was designed and constructed to meet the unique needs of this special population. The building enables us to better integrate our treatment efforts and special services."
