Goodwill Easter Seals Assistive Technology Services – Miami Valley OHIO
Founded in 1984 as the Communication Assistance Resource Services (CARS), a project of the Development Center for Handicapped Children which became the Technology Resource Center. In 2002, TRC joined Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley. In 2008, our brand name change to Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Assistive Technology Services.
Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Assistive Technology Services provide assistive technology for people of all ages with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, visual impairments and hearing loss through our product lending library. Other programs include DD services, waiver services, and refurbished computers for special-needs classrooms and individuals with disabilities

- Assistive Technology Lending Library – an extensive collection of hardware and software available for short term loan for Individuals, Professionals and Organizations
- Refurbished Computers for People with Disabilities – through a contract with AT Ohio, we refurbish donated computers. As a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher we load new operating systems, learning software, virus protection and open office. Each computer comes with a 17 inch monitor, mouse and keyboard.
- Developmental Disability Services – provide Individual Option Waiver for Adaptive and Assistive Equipment and Level I Waiver for Specialized Medical Equipment and Supplies.
