Goodwill Industries of Northern New England – Pediatric Neurorehabilitation Services
Goodwill’s Pediatric NeuroRehabilitation Services offer comprehensive family centered rehabilitation for the treatment of children and adolescents who have a neurological impairment. Because we understand the child’s need to learn and play, we incorporate these activities into their individual and group therapy treatments. We work cooperatively with the child’s support network and include ongoing input from the child, their family and school into all areas of treatment.
Treatment of a neurological impairment or injury is highly specialized. Because we provide individualized services, our programs are able to meet a wide range of needs, from mild to severe. Our treatment teams are made up of highly qualified and experienced professionals who work under the clinical direction of a Neuropsychologist and a Physiatrist. The team provides the physical, cognitive and psychosocial retraining required for each child to reach their maximum potential.
Our programs utilize a child/family centered philosophy, meaning that treatment is family and child directed. We work closely with parents to foster optimal success.
