The Governor's Office of Disability Affairs (GODA) strives to serve as an information resource for Louisiana's disability community and the agencies that serve them. GODA was established and designed by the Governor’s Office to adequately educate, address and resolve issues relative to the disability community. It is our goal to promote, encourage and support citizens with disabilities so they may have an equal opportunity to actively participate in all aspects of life.  GODA also acts as a referral resource available to all constituents with concerns relative to disability issues.  Offering in depth constituent services is a vital function of our office.
The mission of the Governor's Office of Disability Affairs is to facilitate access to the opportunities needed for persons with disabilities in the State of Louisiana to live as fully engaged participants in society.
