The Bruneau Grand View School District provides a high quality education preparing students for futures that
enable them to be positive contributors to society.

Vision

Our learners are capable, confident, and embrace learning.   The Bruneau and Grand View Joint School District Special Education website provides information and contacts for all Special Education Services! We thank you so much for granting us the opportunity to work with your child and family and look forward to each and every encounter! Our number one priority is ensuring that all students receive the best educational experience possible.  And although our district is small we provide a variety of services for students that qualify for special education. Those services include:

~ Early Intervention
~ Diagnostic Assessments
~ Individualized academic instruction
~ Speech Therapy
~ Language Therapy
~ Occupational Therapy
~ Counseling (Social/Emotional and Post High School Planning)
~ Assistive Technology

If your child has been referred for special education services, please know that this is a great opportunity to learn more about your child’s individual learning style!! Your child will still receive a free appropriate public education, just the same as any other student! Your child will be guaranteed to be placed in the least restrictive environment that allows for them to receive the best educational experience, which is more often than not, in the general education classroom. We do encourage parents to check out the special education resources listed below to seek more information about your child’s disability and/or the special education law.

We do ask for parents that have questions to contact their student’s special education teacher! For students that attend Rimrock please contact Mr. Hannah and for students that attend either elementary school please contact Ms. Kerfoot. Thanks!!
