The Gulfport School District offers a full continuum of services for students with disabilities in these areas:  Autism, Deaf-Blind, Developmentally Delayed, Emotional Disability,  Hearing Impairment, Language or Speech Impairment, Mental Retardation, Multiple Disabilities, Orthopedic Impairment, Other Health Impairment, Specific Learning Disabilities, Traumatic Brain Injury and Visually Impaired. Qualified teachers, therapists and trained support personnel strive to offer the most appropriate programs for each student.  Our school district participates in an on-going statewide effort to identify, locate and evaluate children through age twenty-one who are physically, mentally, communicatively, and/or emotionally disabled.
