H.A.L.O. Foundation – Assistive Technology Funding Assistance
H.A.L.O.’s gifts to pediatric nursing homes are focused in New England, but H.A.L.O. will consider requests from individual families across the United States. Initially, H.A.L.O. bestowed teddy bears and hair bows, snuggly bathrobes and boom boxes to individuals on birthdays and other special occasions. Today, the Foundation underwrites purchases of some assistive devices and/or equipment for children who are cared for at home.
H.A.L.O. also funds programs to improve the social climate of nursing homes and medically-staffed H.A.L.O. Holidays group vacations.
The Help A Little One (H.A.L.O.) Foundation considers requests from nursing homes, families, guardians, professionals, communities, and social service agencies. In order to apply for assistance please complete the Request Form.
Examples of approved requests have been:
Adaptive tricycles
Wheelchair lifts
