Hands And Hearts For Horses – Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy Programs
Hands and Hearts for Horses, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is accredited under PATH Int. Located in Thomasville, Georgia, they offer activities in both therapeutic riding and hippotherapy six days a week, eleven months out of the year.
All riders at Hand and Hearts who participate in the TR program are given the opportunity to compete in both local and state shows, including Hands and Hearts' own spring and fall home show, a spring show at Jacobs Ladder in Hahira, and the state Special Olympic equestrian competition in Perry, Ga. Our horse show team also competes in regular local shows.
Like Therapeutic Rind , all hippotherapy lessons utilize up to three volunteers to maintain optimum safety and each hippotherapy lesson is overseen by a NARHA instructor to ensure rider, horse, and volunteer safety throughout the lesson.
