Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) Children’s Hospital, located on the 7th floor in the orange building is an18-bed inpatient unit for pediatrics. We understand how concerning it can be to have your child hospitalized, and our goal is to make your hospital stay as pleasant as it can possibly be.

As the only secured pediatric floor in the Twin Cities, we can also assure the safest stay possible. Many specialized services are available for children, including our nationally-recognized Pediatric Brain Injury Program.

Inpatient services also include the newborn nursery, Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and general pediatric care.

Hennepin County Medical Center offers a wide range of subspecialty programs addressing the medical needs of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
