Medical Equipment – Home Medical Services offers a wide range of home medical equipment and services to help patients get back to life as fully as possible. All of our products are chosen for their quality and ease of use. Our retail store offers patients and caregivers the opportunity to see and try our products before you buy. Our knowledgeable customer care team is available to assist customers and answer all your questions.
Respiratory Care – Home Medical Services credentialed respiratory care team offers specialized respiratory care services and education to patients, caregivers and home health nurses. Our respiratory therapy staff is available 24/7 and provides you with more than 100 years of respiratory care experience. Home Medical Services, a part of Via Christi Home Care, offers the most comprehensive care, follow-up, and patient satisfaction in Kansas.
Hospice of Salina – We are the only not-for-profit hospice provider serving Salina and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We're a not-for-profit 501(c) 3 subsidiary of Salina Regional Health Center, so our only motive is the care you want for your loved one. Local ownership – and care that is truly part of the fabric of our community – makes the difference, whether the care is delivered in-home or in our new facility. Hospice of Salina provides the following services:
Registered nurse and home health aide care.
Social worker services for support, counseling and help with financial and other issues.
Coordination of care with the patient's own doctor.
Coordination of spiritual care with the patient's pastor. If the patient desires, our Chaplain can provide spiritual care.
Volunteer services, including caregiver relief, emotional support, transportation, errands, and response to patient/family needs and requests.
Equipment, supplies and medication necessary for care and management of the terminal illness.
Bereavement Program -The bereavement program provides many support groups, age specific materials and newsletters and individual counseling for those needing grief support.
Services for adults:

Personal one on one visits and support from Hospice of Salina staff and volunteers.
Individual or family grief counseling.
Services for children and youth:
Griefbusters is a grief support program for children ages 7 — 12 presented several times a year in a series of six sessions.
New Horizons for Grieving Teens is a grief support group for youth ages 13 — 19, meeting at intervals decided by the group and providing social activity and discussion. Age specific written and audiovisual materials on loan.

Education on the grief process.
Facilitation of workplace groups.
General Community Services
Education programs on grief, loss and Hospice related topics on request.
Education, training and materials for grief support group facilitators and church/parish visitors.
Annual community memorial celebration and service.
Learning Center: library of written and audiovisual materials on grief, loss and Hospice related topics.
Small durable medical equipment loan closet.
