Hearts & Hooves began as a 501 (C)(3) non-profit riding center in June 2001. Since that time, hundreds children, youth and adults have enjoyed the benefit of riding in the Hearts & Hooves’ program.

Hearts & Hooves earned Premier Accredited Center status through PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) in June 2004, demonstrating that it operates in accordance with national standards as set by professional peers within the therapeutic riding industry. Hearts & Hooves is the only accredited center in the central Arkansas and one of only two to achieve this status in Arkansas.

Hearts & Hooves provides equine assisted activities to persons with disabilities and is located in Sherwood AR, just outside of the Little Rock/North Little Rock city limits. Hearts & Hooves enriches the lives of people with disabilities through partnership with the horse.
