Hope Community Resources – Seward / Resurrection Bay Region – ALASKA
Hope Community Resources (Hope) is a non-profit organization that provides community supports throughout the State of Alaska to over 1,200 families and individuals who experience disabilities. Currently, Hope is the only agency to provide services on a state-wide basis through regional offices that are located in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, Dillingham, Kodiak, Juneau, Ketchikan, Seward, Barrow and the Kenai Peninsula. Based in these communities, Hope also serves the outlying areas and numerous villages surrounding each region.
Seward / Resurrection Bay Region
Although the Seward/Resurrection Bay Region is a small program, it provides a much needed connection to the rest of the state for the people who choose Hope’s support in the area. Seward is a small and somewhat remote community. Hope’s presence assists people in being accepted and included in their community and that of their neighboring communities of the Kenai Peninsula and Anchorage. Operation of this region is overseen through the Soldotna/Kenai Peninsula regional office.
Services Specific to the Region:
Hope owns and operates two assisted living homes in Seward and supports another individual in their natural home. Community education and outreach is a priority in this region
