The HOPE (Hands on Parenting for Excellence) Program is a homevisiting program that assists families with newborn infants through early childhood. The Umatilla County Health Department would like to visit all families with newborn babies in Umatilla County soon after their return home from the hospital. It is our goal to see families within two weeks after birth. The amount of visits a family receives will depend on the individual needs.
