Illinois Respite Coalition

"The Illinois Respite Coalition is dedicated to increasing public awareness of the importance of “Lifespan Respite”, promoting education and training for users and providers of respite services; and advocating support for families by insuring universal access to quality respite services for the residents of the State of Illinois.

This site has been established to help coordinate systems of accessible, community-based respite care services for family caregivers of children and adults with special needs living in Illinois.  The goal of this site is to help families navigate the maze of respite funding streams, eligibility criteria, and fragmented services as well as provide a network for caregivers and providers to get linked together by offering an online respite resources and access to training opportunities."
