ICC was created to provide a family-focused, multi-disciplinary approach to each child. We do not focus on a diagnosis. We focus on the whole child. Our staff consists of highly-skilled and experienced physical, occupational, speech and language therapists, social workers, art therapists and educational specialists – all passionately committed to ensuring that each child reaches his or her fullest potential. ICC is a nonprofit organization that imagines the capacity of a child with special needs when parents, educators, peers and the community have a wide and diverse range of tools to support that child reaching his or her fullest potential. The tools we offer include individualized therapy, education and community partnerships that foster inclusion, acceptance and independence. Our approach is family-focused – that is, we believe that families can provide the best care for their children and should be empowered to reclaim both quality of life and hope for the future. Our programs, therefore, start with the needs of the family. We believe in the importance of building strong and lasting relationships between and among children, family, schools and the community.
