InvoTek develops new assistive devices that open the door to independence, communication and interaction for people with severe disabilities. We provide both technology and support services so that people with disabilities have the resources they need to succeed.

 

History: Inspired and motivated by a speech pathologist who introduced them to the challenges facing people who live with disabilities, Tom and Diane Jakobs founded InvoTek in 1988. Their earliest efforts were aimed at developing and marketing accessible toys, augmentative communication devices, and a voice-dialing telephone.
