WIC is a nutrition and food supplement program for expecting and nursing mothers and children under age 5. Provide mothers with information on breastfeeding, nutrition, and women's health. Children age 5 and under receive general healthservices, and families can receive assistance in purchasing foods high in nutrition. Nutritional classes are also held once a month. WIC clinics are available in Ames, Nevada, and Story City.
