Dial-A-Ride is a demand response paratransit service for Jefferson County residents under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  If you have a disability that prevents you from using JTA fixed route bus services and you are within 3/4 of a mile from our fixed route, Dial-A-Ride is another transportation option for you.  Dial-A-Ride is a “shared ride service”, You will be riding with other Dial-A-Ride clients, and you won’t always travel the most direct route to your destination.  You may have to wait a short time to be picked up.  When you  make your trip reservations, you will receive a “30 minute pickup window”.  You can download an application for Dial-A-Ride services here.  If you would like to have the Jefferson Transit Mobility Coordinator contact you regarding ADA/Dial-A-Ride services, please fill out the form on the DIal-a-Ride page.
