Remediation Clinic – The Remediation Clinic, which has been in operation for over 25 years, offers affordable one- to-one academic tutors for students with learning disabilities. Tutors are certified teachers in the Masters in Special Education degree program. The graduate students are supervised and advised by post-master’s students in the LDTC program. Children attend the clinic one hour per week for ten weeks each semester in 1 to 1 sessions. During this time the student is provided with academic remediation and learning strategies. Weekly parent groups offer insight and discussion of topics relevant to the student being tutored.
