KY-SPIN, Inc. (Kentucky Special Parent Involvement Network) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting programs which will enable persons with disabilities and their families to enhance their quality of life. 
KY-SPIN, Inc. provides statewide training, information and support to people with all types of disabilities, their parents and families, and professionals for all age groups.  In collaboration with the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs (CCSHCN).  KY-SPIN, Inc. has established outreach activities to underserved families throughout Kentucky. 
SPIN consultants are currently in the Commission offices once a month to offer information, resources and support to families. Monthly newsletters are distributed to all CCSHCN office for families and staff. In an agreement with KDE (Kentucky Department of Education), SPIN assist schools and communities in providing educational information and training opportunities to  parents of children with disabilities consistent with the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
