Kern Assistive Technology Center (KATC) was incorporated in 2003 as a non-profit corporation in the State of California. We applied for and received funding for our first staff in 2004. Kern Assistive Technology Center serves the technology needs of individuals with disabilities throughout Kern County California.

• Loan Library – Our Loan Library is our most used service. We stock over 300 pieces of Assistive Technology to allow our clients check them out for 30 days to make sure it is a good fit for them.
