Kidabilities, LLC

"Kidabilities, LLC was founded by Fran Stein, MS, OTR/L, who has more than ten years of experience in the field of pediatric occupational therapy. Fran earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and her MS in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in New York, where she specialized in pediatrics. She has practiced as an occupational therapist in both the New York City and Miami-Dade public school systems, as well as in private practice and home health settings. Fran has also worked as a Lovaas Behavior Modification therapist and has studied and provided treatment using the Tomatis Method of Listening Therapy. In addition, Fran is a certified Handwriting Without Tears specialist.

 

Fran created Kidabilities, LLC, because she recognized the need for more personalized service and individualized care for children receiving pediatric therapies. To this end, the practice is dedicated to assisting patients to achieve their goals through the use of both traditional and non-traditional methods, as appropriate for each child. Since its inception, Kidabilities, LLC has grown from the practice of a sole practitioner to a full-service practice offering a wide-range of therapy services by more than twelve OTs and PTs, all of whom are devoted to each child's success."
