Lake Shore Foundation – Adaptive Recreation
Our mission is to enable people with physical disability and chronic health conditions to lead healthy, active, and independent lifestyles through physical activity, sport, recreation, advocacy, policy, and research. Our vision is to improve the lives of people with physical disability around the world.
Physical activity is the heart of Lakeshore Foundation. Within activity you can find information on aquatics, fitness, recreation and athletics for children, adults, athletes and those that have been injured in service to our nation. Interested in cycling, bocce or playing in a wheelchair flag football league? Recreation is the home of opportunities for children and adults some of whom may be brand new to getting active and some for whom the programs offered are a passionate pursuit. Schedules and event descriptions are available on our website
