Kentucky State Resources (LD Online).  The Learning Disabilities Association of Kentucky, Inc. is a non-profit organization of individuals with learning differences and attention difficulties, their parents, educators, and other service providers.  Assisted by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration on Developmental Disabilities, state councils plan and advocate for improvement in services for people with developmental disabilities. 
The goal of the Learning Disabilities Association is to:

• Embrace the challenge to education the general public on the characteristics of learning disabilities
• To support parents of the individuals with learning differences through information sharing and support.
• To make available to professionals information that will assist them as services providers
• To provide direct services that will assist those who learn differently to become more productive, independent and self-motivated contributors to society.
