Getting information about health clinics and services available at the Health Department. Divisions: Community Health Services is dedicated to an assurance public health role. We strive to identify and address the health needs of the poor and uninsured by providing the highest quality medical and nursing services. We accomplish this through our collaborative relationships with clients and our many community partners. The Division of Dental Health and Nutrition Services is committed to promoting the overall health and well-being of the community through good nutrition and dental health practices. The Health Promotion and Outreach Division is committed to enriching the lives of all people so that individuals have the knowledge and support they need to assume responsibility for their own health.

We promote the practice of healthy behaviors. We accomplish this by providing educational information and referral services on:
healthy eating choices
moving more – even moderate exercise
stopping or not starting tobacco use
safe walking and bicycling in your neighborhood and community
questions about your child's development
creating healthier employees
car seat check events for safe transportation of children

Our trained staff works with schools, community groups, other City/County Departments, hospitals, and businesses/organizations within Lincoln and Lancaster County."
