Adaptive Recreation (AR) Camps are available through the School’s Out and Summer programs, such as Spring Break and Summer Camp.
AR Camps offer participants opportunities, within the least restrictive environment, to enjoy traditional recreation activities, as well as new experiences through leisure exploration.
All AR Camp programs are designed to meet the individual needs of participants who generally benefit from extra support as they strive for daily success within school, leisure and community settings. Staff is trained by the Adaptive Recreation Program’s full-time staff and specialty professionals to ensure that all participants enjoy a safe, fun and memorable camp experience. AR Summer Camp is Virginia State Licensed and maintains the high standards set by state licensing requirements.
