Louisiana Parent Training and Information Center provides information, referral, and assistance to parents of children with disabilities, students with disabilities, educators and other professionals through: Individual consultations by phone, Email and in person. Provides training via workshops as well as online and self-guided training via the internet. Provides an LaPTIC statewide newsletter distributed by mail and e-mail.
Training Topics include, but not limited to:

• Creating effective IEPs
• Disability Awareness
• Preschool Services
• Positive Behavior Support
• Parenting Skills and much more.

In addition, PTI offers a resource library with an array of materials on disability related topics.
