MacPhail Center for the Arts Music Therapy Program

MacPhail Center for Music is a community resource for music education, events and community partnerships.  A successful, independent nonprofit organization, MacPhail’s flagship site is in Minneapolis, with access sites in Apple Valley and White Bear Lake, plus 64 partnership locations.  From its inception in 1907, MacPhail Center for Music has grown to become a passionate organization at the forefront of music education and appreciation for the arts, and a leader in music therapy, Suzuki Talent Education, Early Childhood Music and community partnership program

Early Childhood Music – With over 40 years of experience as a national forerunner in early childhood music education, MacPhails’ Early Childhood Music program has a long, successful history of providing high quality musical learning experiences for young children and their families.

Tuition for music therapy classes is subsidized by generous grants from CIGNA Behavioral Health and the Marie and Edwin C. Hirschoff Fund for special music education and therapy.

MacPhail's Suzuki Institute is an opportunity for Suzuki students of all ages, with their parent, to come together to share in motivating, enriching and wide ranging musical experiences. Students will work with master teachers and improve their skills both technically and musically.
