Malaika Early Learning Center

"Malaika Early Learning Center works collaboratively with families to establish a strong academic, social and emotional foundation in the lives of Milwaukee’s economically disadvantaged children, all of whom deserve opportunities for excellence in education regardless of their socio-economic situations or family structure. Malaika Early Learning Center is a stimulating, state-of-the-art learning facility dedicated to the young children of Milwaukee. Our early childhood learning program emulates the model programs proven to be the most effective.

Since 2003, Malaika Early Learning Center has helped 550 children from some of Milwaukee’s poorest neighborhoods develop the cognitive, social, and emotional skills needed to be successful in school. In serving these children, we benefit all members of the Milwaukee community. Enrollment in Malaika Early Learning Center is a life-transforming experience for our children, placing them on a path toward a productive and fulfilling life. We believe this is one of the most important steps in reversing the cycle of poverty in Milwaukee’s central city. Grades: (K4 and K5)."
