Metro Parks Tacoma
Metro Parks Tacoma strives to provide accessible, affordable, accommodating and welcoming parks, services and programs to the diverse residents and visitors to the Park District. Their inclusion policy strives to ensure that their services meet the needs of all District residents and regional customers regardless of age, ability, race, ethnicity and income level.
Metro Parks Tacoma offers a financial assistance/scholarship program due to generous support from the Greater Metro Parks Foundation. If cost is a potential barrier to participation, City of Tacoma residents may request financial aid for most scheduled fee-based classes, camps or programs with individual charges.
