Miracle League of Wichita Kansas
The Miracle League of Wichita is a baseball/t-ball program for children with special needs ages 5-18 founded by the For the Love of Chance Center. The Miracle League of Wichita provides an opportunity to children with special needs between the age of 5 and 18 to participate in a baseball/t-ball league. The league caters to the needs of its athletes through peer support, adapted game rules, specialized equipment and a rubberized turf field. The specially designed field allows walkers and wheelchairs to operate with ease so no one is left out. Each player is paired with an “Angel in the Outfield” to support and encourage them on game days. In this league, everyone plays and everyone scores! No score is kept because every team is a winner! Baseball is an American tradition and we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to play.
