The Montgomery County Stroke Association, Inc. (MCSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization
established in 1981 in Montgomery County, Maryland, to provide help and hope to stroke survivors and their family caregivers.
 

The dual mission of the Montgomery County Stroke Association is to offer helpful information and caring support to stroke survivors and their family caregivers, and to promote stroke awareness in the community.

Silver Spring Chapter – The monthly meeting provides opportunities to socialize, mental fitness activities, and/or presentations and discussions related to life after stroke.

Upper County Branch – serving the needs of residents living in upper Montgomery County areas such as Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, and all points north. This branch is now MCSA's Upper County Chapter.

Leisure World Chapter – usually meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. The 2nd Wednesday program usually provides support and discussion groups for stroke survivors and caregivers. The 4th Wednesday program usually features a guest speaker on a stroke-related topic.
