Mounds View Public Schools Special Education Instructional Support Services
Located approximately nine miles north of the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul,
Mounds View Public Schools (District 621) provides instructional services for children and adult learners who live in the cities of Arden Hills, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks, Roseville, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights.
Mounds View is among the largest districts in Minnesota. With six elementary schools, three middle schools, two high schools, one alternative school and an Area Learning Center, the District serves nearly 10,000 students and employs more than 1,400 staff.

Mounds View Public Schools participates in the Metro Adapted Athletics Association sanctioned by the Minnesota State High School League. Students who qualify compete in one of two divisions. The PI Division is for students with physical impairments and the CI Divsion is for students with cognitive impairments. The coed teams participate in Indoor Soccer (Fall), Floor Hockey (Winter) and Indoor Softball (Spring). The "RAMS" are comprised by Student Athletes grades 7-12 from Irondale, Mounds View and Roseville High Schools and their corresponding middle schools. The teams practice at Highview Middle School and home games will be played at Highview Middle School for Soccer and Floor Hockey, while Softball will be played at Irondale H.S.
