NAMI WY empowers local affiliates and collaborates with other mental health organizations to form a powerful grassroots advocacy network, able to mobilize quickly to respond to state/local policy issues surrounding mental illness. NAMI Wyoming strives to ensure the availability and accessibility of the highest quality services and research ultimately leading to a better quality of life for people affected by mental illness. Fundamentally, NAMI WY eliminates barriers and confronts prejudices helping people recognize mental illness is a challenge like any other illness.
