National Business & Disability Council
The National Business & Disability Council (NBDC) at The Viscardi Center is a comprehensive resource that assists Fortune 1000 companies with the inclusion of people with disabilities into the workplace, marketplace and supply chain. The NBDC staff has decades of expertise in areas such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance, building and product accessibility, reasonable accommodation, job analysis, recruitment, specialized equipment, and career development. In recognition of this expertise and its efforts, the Council has been awarded the highly prestigious U.S. Department of Labor’s Exemplary Public Interest Contribution (EPIC) Award, as well as the New York Human Rights Commission’s Champions of Diversity Award.
