New Summit School

NEW SUMMIT SCHOOL was created from New Learning Resources, Inc., a comprehensive educational service committed to meeting the diverse educational needs of today’s families, schools and communities.  Accredited by the Mississippi Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, New Summit School serves students, grades K-12. 

New Summit School provides quality educational services through on-site services, consulting, curriculum development, training, technical assistance and program development.  

Offers small classroom instruction with experienced teachers, who can focus on the individual needs of each student.  Teachers incorporate essential core classes as well as electives and enhancement courses in their curriculum planning.  The school utilizes state-of-the-art technology and advanced resources to complement teacher instruction. 

New Summit School was established in 1997 as a full-time, special purpose, co-educational school offering classes for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.  Although New Summit School (NSS) is designed similarly to traditional schools, emphasis is placed on keeping instructional groups small and teaching to the individual student in a positive and stimulating environment.  NSS is committed to an educational philosophy that considers the diverse needs of today’s students and families.
