Special Needs
Our mission is to Provide ministry, encouragement and spiritual nurturing to individuals with disabilities and their families, in order to promote active participation in worship services and the study of God's word.
Goals:
• To share the plan of salvation to individuals with disabilities and their families
• To provide respite and encouragement to families
• To provide specialized Bible study classes for individuals with disabilities
• To provide support for the inclusion of children and adults with disabilities and their families in church events and activities
• To provide opportunities for Christian fellowship
• To provide opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families to use their gifts to serve God
• To increase the awareness level of North Metro First Baptist Church regarding the needs, abilities and potential of persons with disabilities
Life Group Classes
Special Needs classes are offered at 9:30am & 11:00am in Room A132 (younger children) and A222 (young adults and older)
AGAPE
AGAPE is a Respite program for families of individuals with developmental disabilities:
• Ages five through adult
• Second Monday of each month (unless otherwise specified) from 6:30pm – 8:30pm
• Fun, Christian fellowship
• Games, crafts, music and other activities centered on Bible truth and scripture
• Located in the Lighthouse
