We are a progressive learning community that serves approximately 4100 students. Our beautiful, new high school opened in the fall of 2003. Two middle schools, ten elementary schools, an alternative high school program, an early childhood program, and a district pre-school at three sites complete our well-maintained school system. We feature all day kindergarten programs at all of our elementary buildings. North Platte Public Schools is located in a growing community of 26,000 people. NPPS Early Childhood Special Education Program – Does your child talk and play like other children? The early years of a child's life are crucial for cognitive, physical, social and emotional development. The Early Childhood Program offers FREE screening and evaluation for children Birth to five years. Your child could be able to receive FREE help with play skills, speech and language, motor development, vision and hearing!
