PACT Parents and Children Together
Respite Care provides a much needed break from child care responsibilities for parents who are under stress and cannot afford childcare. Families with children from six weeks to five years of age who are undergoing stressful situations can use the Respite Care Program.
Respite is free of charge and funded by: The Hawaii State Department of Health Maternal Child Health Branch with support from Central Union Church and Kuhio Park Terrace.
Families can have three (3) hours of Respite one day per week. Families keep the same day each week. For information on Respite Services, call the Respite Care Program at 841-1027. Trained childcare providers and volunteers care for children under six years of age and assist parents with literacy activities and parenting skills. Centers are located in
