Parents United Together
Mission of Parents United Together is to ensure that Mississippians with disabilities and their family members have information about the philosophy of independent living. The information includes a philosophy of consumer control, peer support, self-help, self-determination, equal access and individual and systems advocacy, in order to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of individuals with disabilities and their families, and the integration and full inclusion of Mississippians with disabilities into the mainstream of society.
