Parent Line, a program of Lutheran Community Services NW, is located in Port Angeles, Washington and serves families and individuals of Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap counties on the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas. We are a not-for-profit social services agency. Our vision is a community that is connected through advocacy, education and the empowerment of individuals. We provide several services. 1) Play and Learn works with parents to support them in preparing children for success in school and life through a quality program. Play and Learn provides parents and caregivers with information, resources, support, and connections to promote optimal development of their children. 2) Our Port Angeles site offers the "Strengthening Families" parenting classes twice during the school year. This is a 14-week program that also includes children ages 3-12. 3) Our Mt. Angeles View Resident-Family Center offers a variety of family centered activities and learning opportunities for all residents. 4) This Clallam County program offers a comfortable, fun place for parents to visit their children during court ordered supervised visitation. 5) Our telephone Warm Line offers confidential supportive listening, problem solving and referrals to community resources.
