Providence Alaska Medical Center – The Pediatric Center
Located on the 3rd floor, building D at Providence Alaska Medical Center, The Pediatric Center is dedicated to providing a full range of services to infants through adolescents. We are committed to working with children, families and professional staff to create a comfortable setting to help families through the hospitalization of their child while maintaining the highest quality of care specific to each patients needs. A 17-bed unit designed to meet the needs of families and children requiring hospital care for medical or surgical problems. Staff are trained and experienced in the care of children of all ages.
The Pediatric Center is made up of two sister units that share common support space and professional staff:
A 17-bed unit designed to meet the needs of families and children requiring hospital care for medical or surgical problems. Staff are trained and experienced in the care of children of all ages. Parents are welcome anytime. Visitors are welcome between 7AM-2PM and 3PM-7PM. Please help our patients get rest during our designated quiet time 2PM-3PM.
This 9-bed unit for children with critical illness and injuries is the only place of its’ kind in the state of Alaska. State-of-the-art care is delivered by a group of highly skilled professionals who specialize in the care of children using the latest medical equipment and technologies.
