Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center
Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center (PKIMC) is staffed by a mix of primary care physicians, surgeons and specialists who provide family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics, radiology and general practice.
PKIMC features 25 acute care beds, including 4 birthing suites, 2 psychiatric care beds and 2 ICU beds. In addition, the Care Center, PKIMC’s extended care facility, has 19 long-term care beds. The therapy clinic offers Physical, Occupational, Pediatric and Hand Therapy services to the Kodiak community. Our therapists promote the goals of the individual patient through purposeful activities which enable them to perform at work and participate in the activities of daily life.
Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center provides a significant range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency department, surgery, laboratory services, maternity, general medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, specialty clinics, diagnostic imaging services, pharmacy and home health care.
Outpatient Specialty Clinic
The outpatient Specialty Clinic provides additional support services including pediatrics, urology, allergy, dermatology, podiatry, psychiatry, gynecology, audiology and ear, nose and throat specialists.
