Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic at UWMC

"The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic at UWMC provides comprehensive care for patients with complex and/or long-term consequences of a major illness or injury. The clinic assists patients with problems related to physical and cognitive disabilities, as well as a range of conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, mscular dystrophy, amputations, post-polio, cancer-related disabilities including neuro-oncology, pain and neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal disorders. 

Other services include: follow-up to rehabilitation programs for patients discharged from UWMC; initiation and coordination of outpatient rehabilitation and exercise programs; medical and pharmacological management for active rehabilitation patients; neuropsychology evaluation and testing; evaluation for outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, assistive technology and social work services; botulinum toxin and neurolytic block clinics; intrathecal baclofen pump program. "
