RideAble Special Needs Equestrian Program
RideAble is an equestrian program for people with special needs based in the Eugene/Springfield area, advice in the state of Oregon. RideAble is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and has been providing horsemanship learning opportunities since 1995. PetAble has been added to the program to provide animal contact. Some of those enjoying this experience have personal or medical issues preventing participation in RideAble. Students in the RideAble program span a range of abilities and ages.
RideAble serves anyone with a developmental, emotional, physical, or mental special need. All participants share an enthusiasm for horses and riding that is fostered by our instructors and volunteers. RideAble offers private,PATH Logo individual lessons and small group classes of up to four. Lessons are planned to meet each rider’s individual needs and groups are selected to include riders with similar skills, stamina, age, and goals.
